Once you authorize your Facebook personal profiles and Fan pages in Arkovi - you will be archiving:
- Your own wall posts to either personal profiles or Fan pages
- Facebook Groups
- Others posts, comments and any of your responses to posts and comments on your walls()
- Posts to your wall(s) by third-party applications
- Photos and Photo Galleries
- Private Facebook emails
- Facebook Notes
To get started, click on Add Facebook Account
This will take you to Facebook.com to login to your account and begin authorizing. The steps are:
- The Arkovi Facebook application will load in Facebook - Click to grant permission to archive your Facebook data
- This will open a new window for your affirmation
- Once you click Allow - you will be returned to the Arkovi Facebook Application. Here you are prompted to enter your Arkovi username (email address you signed up with) and password. This finalizes the link to your Facebook account.
- You will then see your Arkovi email address under “Arkovi accounts associated with this Facebook account”
- If you are also adding a Facebook Fan Page - you can click on “Connect a Fan Page” to begin this process. Facebook does require that the person authorizing the Fan page is also the Facebook admin for that Fan Page.
- The correct order is to first Authorize the Fan Page (click the link) and then to Link with Arkovi account - where you are asked to input your Arkovi username and password one more time.
- You can then click Become a Fan to follow us on Facebook - or return to Arkovi.
