Eighteen months can go by in a flash! It was September 2009 when Arkovi launched with a private beta - and subsequent holiday season public beta where we introduced ourselves to the financial services industry. That is also when the term social media archiving arrived in the lexicon of financial services professionals at large.
In that time Arkovi has broadened its footprint of features, cultivated relationships with strong, like-minded partners committed to financial services and are excited to head out on to the road in 2011, starting with the T3 Conference in Weston, Florida - February 16-19th.
In looking back over 2010 - we found some fascinating statistics on the use of social media from the Arkovi archives. We felt an infographic might share the story more clearly. Some items of interest:
- While more than 85% of our customers have LinkedIn accounts - clearly the volume of content is driven by Facebook and Twitter.
- Posting to Twitter from blogs leads the pack in our content generation analytic on Tweets - and a quarter of customers posting via dlvr.it.
- For social networking at least, working in the cloud accounts for two-thirds of content posting (web browser and mobile). iPad usage for social content creation is on the climb.

Great graphic, you guys. I find it interesting how far behind LinkedIn is. Just goes to show that my partner was right, as he wrote in “As Facebook Takes Over the World. “
