New Arkovi.com Archiving Features Released
Arkovi.com was updated this evening with several new features to enhance the social media archiving experience. Just in time before a brief Christmas break! A lot of feedback has been coming in during the beta around RSS feeds and the hopes of archiving blogs in conjunction with Twitter. What is convenient about introducing RSS feed support is not only aggregating your blog content but also any of the RSS feeds from your other social media applications. You can sign up for free!
The Arkovi menus had a slight change in labeling enabling you to manage all accounts - both multiple Twitter accounts as well as bringing in RSS feeds. The full release details are below.
New Features
- Archive RSS feeds - capture blogs and other social media applications in addition to our complete Twitter integration
- Filter your Twitter archive to view all or only one account archive at a time
- Keyword search your archive
- Now export full Twitter archive - Tweets, Mentions, Retweets and Direct Messages
- Recommend us to your Twitter followers - click on the Recommend link and update your Twitter status automatically

In Development Now
We mare staying busy throughout the beta. We have some enhancements already queued up for the RSS archiving to include downloading and archiving audio and video attachments in RSS feeds (we link to them now). Additionally, several tweaks to the Twitter status update and advanced search tools are coming. Finally, we plan to add several additional formats for exporting your archive as well as email and other distribution tools for routing your archive data manually or automatically.
Of course - we have some more surprises on the way - but telling them all would take the fun out of it! Be sure to stop back as we will keep you updated here on the blog and via @arkovibackups regularly. Also check out our Facebook fan page - and again - feel free to sign up for a free account to archive your social media!
