If you are running a blog - it is likely you also have peers or partners who are also running a blog (and hopefully reading yours). This is an opportunity to cultivate these relationships and broaden your reach on social media. Guest posting can be handled in two approaches - 1) re-using posts you have already run on your blog on others blogs (and the same with their content) or 2) agreeing to cover new topics and writing new original content for each others blogs.

The value is two-sided - one you can reach new users and potential new audience and two - you can introduce a new narrative and voice to your own readers.
